Revision of Terms and Conditions of Japanese Stud Book Database





 Thank you for using Japanese Stud Book Database. We inform you that our Terms and Conditions of Japanese Stud Book Database will be revised. Revised articles will be effective as of February 1, 2007.

Main points of this revision are;
 - To provide better service, the Article 3 will be revised to extend trial period until March 31, 2008.
 - Clarify the case of temporary interruption of the access to the Service.


Article 3 and 10 are revised as shown below.



Former Article
Article 3 Trial Period
A trial period is provided for the Service until January 31, 2007. The trial period may be extended at the discretion of JRHR. Extensions shall be carried out according to Article 22.

Revised Article
Article 3 Trial Period
A trial period is provided for the Service until March 31, 2008. The trial period may be extended at the discretion of JRHR. Extensions shall be carried out according to Article 22.



Former Article
Article 10 Accessibility
1. The Service shall be accessible 24 hours a day, in principle.
2. However, access to the Service may be temporarily interrupted without prior notice in any of following cases.
a) Maintenance of machines or systems used for the Service is required regularly or irregularly.
b) A fire or power cut prevents the provision of the Service.
c) A natural disaster such as an earthquake, volcanic eruption, flood or tsunami prevents the provision of the Service.
d) In any other case when JRHR judges it necessary to temporarily interrupt the Service due to administrative or technical reasons.
